In today’s information-overloaded world most of us are bombarded with demands and responsibilities from the moment we wake up in the morning to the precious seconds before we fall asleep. If this resonates with you, and you are finding life overwhelming and stressful, then join us for our new Mindfulness For Our Digital World course.
With a special emphasis on working with the stresses of our busy, digital lives, this practical course provides a coherent structure for cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness (read more). Over the course of six weeks, participants will learn a variety of formal and informal practices that reduce stress and anxiety and increase a sense of space and clarity.
Participants will receive a tailored educational pack with guided meditation recordings, and down-to-earth teachings on using mindfulness to connect with life beyond the digital screen.
In addition to the meditations and exercises in class, students will be expected to practice at home for 15–20 minutes a day. This home practice is a vital component of the course. Students will have an opportunity in every class to ask questions and receive feedback about their experiences during the week.
The course is run by our mindfulness teacher Andrea Holsfeld. Read about Andrea here.
